How to make flower painted rocks:

Colourful and Cheerful Flower Painted Rocks

Before you get started, wash rocks and let them dry completely prior to painting. Repeat each of the following steps as needed for additional coverage. And as you paint, allow paint to fully dry between steps and when changing to a new color.

Painting a Pink Zinnia Flower Rock

Mix orchid color with a small amount of black color and paint a small dot in the center of the rock.

Paint 4 long petals in orchid then paint another 4 long petals in orchid. Next, paint the last 8 petals in orchid as shown to have a total of 12 petals per flower.

Using a very fine tip paint brush, dip the paint brush in summer squash and add small dots around the center dot. Continue to work around in a circle for about 3 rows or until you achieve the desired look.

Painting a Yellow Zinnia Flower Rock

Mix summer squash color with small amount of black and paint a small dot in the center of the rock.

Paint 4 long petals in Summer Squash then another 4 long petals in Summer Squash. Next, paint the last 8 petals in summer squash as shown to have a total of 12 petals per flower.

Paint the lower half of each petal in magenta color. Using a very fine tip paint brush, dip the paint brush in summer squash and add small dots around the center dot. Continue to work around in a circle for about 3 rows or until you achieve the desired look.
